In order to further improve the atmospheric environmental quality of industrial agglomeration areas and effectively protect the environmental rights and interests of the masses, combined with the recent air quality problems reflected by netizens, on the evening of January 5, Shaoxing launched the “ Nighthawk 1” law enforcement action.



Fang Linmiao, director of the Municipal Bureau of Ecological Environment, Tang Guozhong, deputy director, led law enforcement personnel and media reporters to conduct surprise inspections on the operation of enterprise pollution control facilities in Yuecheng and Keqiao districts.



At about 9 o'clock that evening, the inspection team first checked Shaoxing Bailong Extra Wide Technology Co., Ltd. located in Doumen Street, Yuecheng District. In the workshop, workers are working in full swing. Law enforcement officers inspected the enterprise's waste gas treatment facilities and operation and maintenance accounts. No distinct odor was detected in the factory area and on the Kangning Road to the north of the enterprise.



At the second stop, the inspection team came to Zhejiang Baide Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. This is a professional pharmaceutical company. Flight monitoring in December last year showed that the RTO emissions of this company exceeded the standard and need to be rectified and implemented. Once entering the factory area, law enforcement officers come directly to the enterprise central control room for inspection. The exhaust RTO incineration central control system shows that the system works normally, the incinerator temperature meets the required requirements, and the processing facilities account records are standardized. However, some problems were also found during the on-site inspection. The operating rules of the central control indoor facilities were not put on the wall, and the enterprises were required to rectify immediately on the spot.



At the third stop, the inspection team arrived near Kehai Road, Keqiao District. On the road, they could smell the odor of the exhaust gas of the stereotyping machine. They immediately checked Zhejiang Zizhumei Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd. located in this section.



Walking into the fourth floor of workshop No. 1, the exhaust gas is diffuse and the smell is pungent. Inspection found that although the water spraying circulating system of enterprise stereotyping machine was running normally, the spraying circulating water was not replaced in time, which affected the treatment effect. Law enforcement personnel require enterprises to rectify immediately to ensure that emissions meet the standards.



The operation will last for three months. The Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment adopts the methods of staggered law enforcement, Monday inspection and special verification to strictly control the unorganized and excessive discharge of various kinds of waste gases, to minimize and reduce the formation and accumulation of fine particulate matter, and to achieve significant improvement in atmospheric environmental quality.
